Pregnancy Symptoms

This pregnancy has made me wonder... are pregnancy symptoms real, or are they subconsciously created because we've heard so much about them? Kinda like when someone mentions lice. Does your head itch??

Here are some things pregnancy women are "supposed" to have...

• Crazy mood swings
• Incapacitating fatigue
• Weird cravings (pickles, ketchup on pancakes, sweets, etc)
• Uterus brain
• Strong fingernails and thick hair
• Crazy sex drive
• Bizarre dreams
• Constipation (late pregnancy is legit for obvious reasons)
• Hot flashes
• Nesting
• Big boobs (oh wait that's real)
• Super hearing ability
• Super sniffer

I haven't had any of these symptoms. (Well I did actually eat a whole piece of cheesecake before dinner last night) So have I just had a great pregnancy? Are the typical symptoms coming? What do women in isolated societies experience? Do they have their own set of "symptoms?" Once again who knows. I'm just thinking out loud here.
